Our Story

The Bobbleheads Bring Us Together Project or as we refer to it as the BBUTP, was born from a need to give to others in the wake of the Waukesha Christmas Parade Attack on November 21st, 2021. Our Founder, Tyler was severely injured when he was run over by the SUV while marching with the Waukesha South Band. As one of the older children that were hurt, he wanted to find a way to help the younger children affected by the senseless, selfish attack.

He posted to Facebook that he had some duplicate bobbleheads in his personal collection that he wanted to gift, and along with the gift of bobbleheads, he hoped that he could become a role model, a friend, and a support system to be able to help these children heal and move forward.

About the one year anniversary of the parade attack, BBUTP was officially a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Us here at the BBUTP would like to continue the outreach that happened immediately after the parade, and that brought the community closer together, helping each other, and looking out for each other.

BBUTP is not only about parade survivors, but all children that experience a traumatic situation. We put together a gift basket, with many items personal to that child. We have bobbleheads not just baseball related, but football, basketball, soccer, and non sports related as well.
